Shimon Galitzer
Shimon earned his BA degree in accounting from Queens College, N.Y. and was admitted to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor society. He earned his MBA degree from New York University with a major in Taxation and his JD degree from Columbia Law School in N.Y. After working for Arthur Young & Company (predecessors of Ernest & Young) he left as a Principal at AY&Co to make Aliyah in 1982. After taking and passing the Israeli bar exam and Israeli CPA exam he worked for Herzog Fox Neeman as an intern in order to qualify for the Israeli bar. He then worked for Kesselman & Kesselman as a manager in their tax department and left in 1988 to establish the CPA firm of Galitzer & Associates.
Jerry Morgenstern
Jerry grew up in Queens New York. After high school Jerry studied in Israel for one year at Yeshivat Sha'alavim. He graduated from Yeshiva University Sy Syms School of Business with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He then earned his CPA license from the State of New York and worked in the New York offices of Deloitte & Touche, CPA's. Before Aliyah, Jerry worked as the National Director of Bnei Akiva of North America. In 1994 Jerry made Aliyah with his wife and worked at the accounting offices of Haft & Haft and Deloitte & Touche-Israel (Igal Brightman). He started working for our firm in October 1998 and in September 2004 became an Israeli CPA. He currently resides with his wife and six children in Beit Shemesh.
Ben-Zion Blank
Ben-Zion grew up in Far Rockaway New York where he attended local yeshiva elementary and high schools. After graduating high school, Ben-Zion studied in Israel for two years at Yeshivat Sha’alvim. Upon his return to New York he started Touro College where he graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He then earned his CPA license from the State of New York and started his accounting career working for CPA firms in New York City. In 1995 Ben-Zion made aliyah and started working for our firm in January 1997. He currently resides with his wife and six sons in Efrat.
Chanoch Ben Chaim
Chanoch graduated from De Paul University in Chicago with a B.S. degree in accounting and passed the C.P.A. examination in New York. After working four years in New York City as a C.P.A., he made aliyah, and served in the I.D.F. Chanoch passed the Israeli C.P.A. exams, and started working as an Israeli C.P.A. in 1994. He has been with our firm since September 2005. He is married with five children and lives in Jerusalem.
Zev Leibler
Zev grew up in Bayit Vegan, Jerusalem. After graduating from the Ma'arava Yeshiva high school, Zev attended the Haredi Center for Technological Studies in Israel where he studied to become a tax consultant and received his certificate from the Ministry of Labor. Zev resides with his wife and children in Ramat Beit Shemesh and has been working with us since 2007.
Rene (Rochel) Vanning
Rene was born and educated in Cape Town, South Africa where she acquired secretarial skills. She came to study in Israel in 1981, intending to remain in Israel. She has worked as a secretary ever since for yeshivos, seminaries and various professionals. She has been working as the secretary for our firm since 1997.
Rachel Goldberg
Rachel received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting in New York City, graduating Magna cum Laude from Touro College. She subsequently passed the CPA exams, and soon after moved to Jerusalem, Israel in 2004 (as a קטינה חוזרת) where she lived with her husband and children until they moved to Tel-Stone. Rachel enjoys sketching and has had the occasion to run a summer camp nature program for 400 youngsters. Rachel has been working with us since 2005. |
